ECO EDUCATIONAL INTERPRETATION
The product we developed is FLOVISTA. The target area for our product is the Botanical Gardens in Malaysia. As you know, Malaysia has more than 10 Botanical Gardens owned by the government, private companies and individuals. The Botanical Garden that we chose is the Shah Alam National Botanical Garden. The Shah Alam Botanical Garden is the largest botanical garden in Malaysia with an area of 92 hectares. This Botanical Garden has more than 700 species of local plants, flowering plants and research plants from Africa and the Asia Pacific.
This is one of the sites located in the Shah Alam National Botanic Park (TBNSA). In addition, TBNSA has an area of 27.11 hectares with a total number of species of 430 types equivalent to 9225 units. This Botanic Site has 5 other sites, including the Paddy Site, Zingiberales Site, Cocoa and Durian Site, Farm Site and Cactus Site. This unit is under the care of the Ministry of Agriculture of Malaysia which is now known by its new name, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security.
